In the X-Men universe, Juggernaut is known for his sheer force and unstoppable nature. As he says in X-Men: The Last Stand, “You can’t stop me. I’m the Juggernaut!” His power grows with momentum—the faster he moves, the harder he is to stop. This concept isn’t just for comic books; it’s a metaphor MSPs can adopt to transform their marketing efforts into a
force of nature.

The Power of Momentum Starts with One Win

Momentum in marketing begins with your first few wins. For MSPs, that means closing a few deals and immediately leveraging those successes. The key? Gathering written and video testimonials from those initial clients. These testimonials serve as proof points— real voices validating your value. They’re not just nice-to-haves; they’re accelerators.

Here’s a secret: when asking for a written IT Support testimonial, don’t wait for your client to write it. Write a letter yourself based on their experience and ask them to sign it. Otherwise, you’ll be waiting for an eternity. Most clients appreciate the help and are happy to approve of something that reflects their experience accurately.

When you focus your testimonial efforts around a specific vertical market—say, legal firms or dental practices—you begin to build credibility within that niche. Prospects in that vertical see themselves in your success stories. Your marketing becomes more relevant, more targeted, and more persuasive.

From First Wave to Second Wave: Building Momentum

Once you’ve secured your first wave of testimonials, the second wave of sales becomes easier. Why? Because now you’re not just selling a service—you’re presenting a proven solution backed by real-world results. This is where the Juggernaut effect begins to kick in.

In one job interview, I suggested to an MSP that he visit all his current clients to gather testimonials. He laughed at the idea.
